Birthday Party Fun

Today was a long but fun day. Devin and I started the day very early this morning walking in Race for the Cure. This afternoon, after a nap and a little lunch, we headed to our friend's 2 year old birthday party. Her friend Jacob had gotten a new swing set for his birthday and Devin LOVED it! She had no fear and was climbing and sliding like a champ! She was the only little girl, and when she got to the top, she would practically push the boys down the slide so she could have her turn! It really was quite amusing to see how bossy she could be! She did great on the ladder and was trying to skip 2-3 steps each time.


It was a beautiful day, so Devin and I opted to sit on the grounnd on the patio to eat while there. It worked out well. Everyone else was holding their kid in their lap and trying to feed them and themselves. Devin at her food happily while I ate mine!

By the time we got home tonight, she was absolutely exhausted....and so is her mommy!!!!! We had a really great day together and lots of fun!
