Over Labor Day weekend we convinced Chris to come to gymnastics with us so he could see just how far his little girl has come in her participation. He said he would be happy to as long as I was the one participating and he was the one taking pictures. I was all for that idea!
We always start the clas on the red mat. This day we played with the parachute...
Mommy and Devin...
The balance beam is by far one of her favorite activites. She can do this over and over and over and she is actually really good at it. Just look at those feet. She has perfect form! :)
This little ending would be what my dad would probably refer to as a "steam roller".
On to the bars. Most of the bars there are a little too short for Devin because when she hangs on them, her feet touch. It really becomes apparent how tall she is in this class with kids almost the same age as her.
I try to let her do as much on her own as I can and then spot her when it is appropriate. Her confidence level has increased so much since our first class!
This time we are on the shorter balance beam and as you can see Devin is totaly distracted by something else which is the norm for her here. But she does quickly recover.
We loved having Daddy be able to come along and hope he gets to come again!
