This past weekend Chris and I decided to take Devin for a quick dip in the pool.

While we were in the pool, we were watering a plant that was in desperate need. Izzy decided to roll around in the mud that resulted from watering so she got to take a dip in the pool to get cleaned off as well.

Circus!

Chris and I decided to take Devin to the Circus this year. We asked some of our friend's if they would like to meet us there since they have a little boy close in age to Devin. We had a great time!

Devin had a great time but the animals were by far her favorite part! She screeched and squealed with so much delight that the people sitting for a few rows in front of us kept looking back at her because it was so loud! She especially loved the elephants, and tigers were a close second, and if she hadn't insisted on sitting in her own chair in the beginning, she probably would have loved the dogs as much too. I managed to get her in my lap at the end of the dogs doing tricks and she loved what she did see of it! That girl had a blast!

She was exhausted though by the time we got home. It was way past her bedtime.

Uncle John's Pad

Last weekend we had the pleasure of going to Devin's Uncle John's house for dinner. Michelle made homemade pizza and it was out of this world! I should have taken a picture of the beautiful delicious creation!

While we were there, Devin found one of the favorite seats there and made herself at home. She did have a few phone calls to make!

When Devin goes to my parent's house, the kitchen sink seems to be her favorite place to hang out. They have a stool they put there for her and she washes her hands multiple times while she is there. My mom has started bringing out a toothbrush for her to use now as well and that provides a good amount of entertainment for her too.

Gymnastics

I have been trying to get some good pictures of Devin while she is at gymnastic but it proves to be very difficult seeing as though I am also spotting her on most things, and she never stops moving!

Devin loves this thing. I always help her bounce and on the count of 5 I make her bounce really high to get onto the mats and then she climbs them and starts over again, and again, and again. That is her theme there. She does things over and over and over.

These types of activities are my favorites because she can mostly do them herself which I think is important in learning more about balancing her own body etc.

We always have a great time and she comes home tired and usually takes a nap for me! We just finished the Summer session and have enjoyed it so much and she has come so far, that we signed up for the next session that runs through January. It is a great Saturday morning activity for us to do together.

Bianca's Bday Party

Last weekend Bianca had her birthday party at a place here called Pump it Up! Devin has been inside one bouncy house but never been to a place like this. It took awhile for her to loosen up but man once she did, she had a GREAT time! They have it set up so you are one one room for a specific amount of time, then the party moves to a 2 bounce room, then you move to the room where there is cake and ice cream. Devin didn't really participate until we got to the 2nd room and I dragged her inside one of the houses against her will.

Devin's favorite place to read these days is on the potty. She always says a boo a boo a boo (a book) when we go in there and points to the basket to remind me she wants to read.
